$4/17/19 a hard and beautiful time. Lately, as I've been exploring the depths of my soul --- I've felt a sense of peace that I remember missing in the past. // I'm not sure we ever get to the state where all of the time is happiness but I am sure that I'm transforming into a state where all of the time is peace and that is much, much more beautiful, \\ because my pain is so beautiful too. // It has only been recently that I've felt the ---trust--- necessary for me to find peace. \\ I've found it in connection with my own experience - past - soul - memory (all synonymous) and I'm finding it again and again as pain moves in me and I meet it with love. // A couple nights ago in the throes of a tumultuous transformation that had me engulfed for days - I cried and cried and cried and then laughed and hugged and laughed. \\ There is nothing like the safe space that my partner gives to me. In his presence I am able to let all of my pieces move, reorganize, balance. // I was so afraid and as I cycled through each of my subjects or topic of fear, they connected to memories that were so hard to feel again but I realized I'd been feeling them all day, every day, in every expression of my fear. \\ Each time a memory came back and that fear took me again, I met myself, the self who was experiencing that pain way back when, with love - and I felt the love fill me in the present moment. // It felt just like giving birth. An incredible intensity. Beyond time. So deep and profound. I even went through the nausea of "transition". \\ There is nothing like love. Love creates the space, the safety that we need to be vulnerable - free - open... to heal. // I feel more integrated now, with much left to understand and deepen but this sense of renewed peace is going to continue to support and guide me. // Love is always a choice we can make.
